And while you're there, add Rangi and FarmerJohn to the wall of shame.

He's not on the skip list, he's on the down-to-2-hours list.

Also, I'm not sure but Bada's time issue may have been my fault. To be investigated.
This was a surprise pick, but an awesome song. This was almost my Lanegan selection

I'm not the Lanegan fanatic I was in the 90's but he always has a couple great tracks each release. This one hit me right away.

Love the Civil Wars. Their cover of Disarm by the Pumpkins is great.

I don't have many songs that I have strong 'soundtrack to your life' associations with. But this song came out a few months after Ellie was born, and for about a year and a half I sang this to her every night before she went to sleep. Amazing lyrics, sentiment that manages to be honest, simple, and profound, and a lush, warm, heartfelt presentation. This is the song Eddie Vedder has been trying to write for a decade.

Tom Waits - Tell Me

So the river will not drown it
And in the highway won't take it
And the dust will not cover it
And the sun will not blind it
And the wind won't blow it away

Did you sing this to your daughter in Waits' voice?

It's a lovely cover. The first time I heard it, I didn't realize what it was until the second time he sang the chorus.

Abnorman, did you get the version of Bad As Me with the three bonus tracks? They're better than the bulk of the album, excepting maybe hell broke luce, chicago, and new years eve
