Same. Cobain's lyrics were too abstract to hit me on a personal level. All I could do was figure out how I could fit into the songs. Vice versa, AIC and PJ had lyrics that fit into me.

I liked that.

I think my brain likes being able to absorb the melodies without the posturing or melodrama that lyrics sometimes bring to a song. It's not that I hate lyrics, I just like how the intonation of the vocals can tell me a less convoluted story.

And it might help me learn Spanish.

It's not a great band, just a song I remembered from my childhood because of that New Wavey song you posted.

I really despise that new Madonna song. Absolutely nothing about it is good.

The last Madonna song I know I heard was that one with Justin Timberlake.

I don't think I've heard or at least remember hearing a Madonna track since 2000 or so.
