Near the end, about 3:05 in (I assume that's the sound people talk about when they mention it). It reminds me to "Song is Over" from the Who.

I don't think "Future Days" is a bad song. In fact, it's probably one of the better songs on LB.

It's hard to say for sure. All I could hear were his frog hiccups.

It just seems like blatant Springsteen emulation to me, which I can live with. Far less embarrassing than something like "Let the Records Play", which is basically the musical equivalent of this.

Listened to LB yesterday for the first time in 2+ years. Didn't mind it. Everything except My Father's Son, Lightning Bolt, Yellow Moon & Future Days came off well to my ears. Getaway, Infallible & Pendulum stood very far out from the rest.


Almost made me want to spin Backspacer, but I'm scared. Probably just listen to the Conan Tonight Show version of Got Some & call it good.

Guys, Future Days is just the worst.

Let the Records Play has a great bridge, that's something.
Future Days is awful.
