Rodgers would appreciate RM more than those meatheads Brady and Gronk.

Isn't this one of those things that the Pats don't really do but they like to get teams to think that they do just to fuck around with them? This has always struck me as Jedi mind tricks on Belichick's part.

Where's the "Lenny and Ruddo set to meet" thread?

Is this the last year of his rookie contract, or do we have an option for next year? When it comes time to sign him, I'm afraid the team will cheap-o out.

It was a random sweep...then the NFL said "a team" asked. Regardless, the NFL still does not understand its own rules and how to interpret them:

To lose your best receiver, who plays in 87.7 percent of snaps; to have virtually every call go against you; and to still pull out a win against the only team in the NFL to have your number is quite something.

Never heard Brady so depressed after a win, though, talking about Edelman and the enormous void to fill. Despite the reports that indicate Edelman will return this season, if you read between the lines, I feel that Tom has more info and is not all that optimistic about Edelman's return.

Edelman is awesome, no doubt, but I don't see this mortally wounding the Patriots, especially since he'll likely be back for the playoffs. I'd think losing Gronk, like they did in 2013, would be worse.

I hate the Patriots, but was very happy to see them win yesterday. It was a fun game to watch too.

It was probably the best NFL game played this season. It pretty much had everything.

It really did. My favorite part was Eli's face after the Patriots hit the game winning field goal.

Jamie Collins out again. This sucks--I think he was definitely headed to the Pro Bowl/All-Pro list. Local media reporting that it's not MRSA.
