i've heard snippets of the breathe in song on jonsi's instagram. the part he played was pretty far out there.

I really like "Exhale." It sounds kind of like the direction that I imagined Sigur Rós was going after Kveikur, but a little more pop. The biography section of Jónsi's site reveals that this is not a standalone single, but actually the first single of a new album, Shiver out sometime later this year. It will include songs that feature Liz Fraser and Robyn.

And now it's official: new Jónsi album, Shiver, releasing on October 2. "Exhale" will kick off the album, and the second single, "Swill" is now up on streaming and stuff. It can be pre-ordered on Bandcamp: https://jonsi.bandcamp.com/album/shiver
