This is super easy to figure out, and I'm surprised you need it explained to you: your assumption is that I agree that Elvis Costello is a piece of shit. I don't! There is one awful, glaring stain on his record, but it's pretty distant and he's made amends. Meanwhile Josh Homme has shown a pattern of fucked up behavior and is currently being accused by his own children of being abusive. Not really on the same playing field here.

And if they were, if Costello continued exhibiting toxic behaviors in the years since, I would still like his music! Like I've said several times, I am happy to separate art from artist, and think this is a personal choice every fan gets to make for themselves. I don't like Josh Homme's music and (not because) I don't like Josh Homme the person. I like Elvis Costello's music and (not because) I like Elvis Costello the person. Really hope this clears it up for you!

You are assuming all of these allegations are 100% true without even considering that Dalle is ap iece of shit and THEY MIGHT NOT BE TRUE.

As it stands now, judges, two, have not cared to hear anymore of this and it has gone nowhere.

Dalle is a hypocritical abuser. Their nanny has confirmed she would quiz the kids upon returning home from Homme's until she had something negative to latch onto. Those claims are essentially Dalle's. She also violated custody laws, which is likely why it was thrown out initially.

There's another hearing tomorrow. So we'll have to see how that goes.

Yes! I believe the facts as presented recently by those kids! I get to do that, just like you get to not believe them! If further information comes to light that Dalle somehow coaxed these kids into lying about how their dad treated them, then I will believe that. But as things stand right now, and with the grateful knowledge that I am neither judge nor jury, I believe the story as presented by the kids.

As far as I'm concerned, that's really cool that we get to do that

and since it only takes apologies to clear someone of their bad behavior (case in point for costello)
