Plus :
Bonus tracks (available via the digital release; physical copy includes a digital download card): • Litanie contre la Peur • Legion Inoculant • Mockingbeat
Was a little surprised to see CC Trip get an official name of Chocolate Chip Trip
Lots of reviews out there now

I really like their new song. It sounds like tool at its best. Love the meldoies. Go Maynard

I'm more worried this album is going to turn out to be a cookie cutter trip after hearing that first track. Have these guys really not discovered new drum beats, bass tones, and riffs in the past 13 years?

Runs over 80 minutes. The one's they've left off are just the segues, so the physical album will be all killer no filler

It's a knife edge though.
Change and experiment, then piss off and alienate fans who say "it's not Tool", or stick to their roots and formula that works but get bagged for not doing anything new?

I'm just happy we're getting a new album and the launch single is pretty enjoyable.

First impression of the new song is that it's not bad but a bit underwhelming.

There’s sticking to your roots and there’s “damn that sounds just like the bass part from The Grudge.”

Huh, I've not heard anything in there yet that has made me think of The Grudge. I've heard bits that sound like they've been lifted out of Jimmy and others though. The song is kind of a Frankenstein of their best bits

Track times appeared on Apple Music. So 6 songs and 4 segues, huh? Maybe 7 and 3?
