That guy at the Australian listening party just replied to a question about the weaker tracks, confirming that Something Special was one of them. He can't be completely wasted then. Sober enough for a leak? Can't say.

Won't Tell sounds great very excited for that song + the rest of Wreckage. To me it sounds like 5 of these could be classics. Which is amost unthinkable. I will more that thrilled if one of these gets in my top ten. 2 or 3 in my top 40 it's a win.

Ok we’ve identified the two weak songs (per this guy), they are Something Special and Wreckage.
Coincidentally I dislike both of them, so this sounds VERY GOOD to me.

He has the same gripe about Wreckage as me: this middle America jingly-jangly REM slash Tom Petty made for TV chum just doesn’t cut it for me.

Im still on the fence…the full song could take some turns, the metal door leak is different from the snipett…didnt seem so happy go lucky.

At this point…You can record it with a nokia, I will still want to hear it…listen to a bad recording first…lower expectations, then listen on full atmos in the cinema. bang

We've been listening to the metal door leak and analysing it, for crying out loud. Pretty sure we won't mind an iPhone recording from inside the store.
