Don't be so hard on Rondo. I think now that he has a coach like Hoiberg he will settle down and become much more disciplined. He will take care of the ball and control tempo like never before and trigger a rejuvenation in Wade and get Butler the best opportunity possible to take his game to a level we never thought he could. I even heard he has been taking a minimum of 2,000 jump shots a day this offseason and has completely reworked his shot to make defenses pay for sagging off on him. It really looks like the Bulls got the bargain of the summer in this guy. Come April you will be singing a different tune.

C'mon...does anyoone think that Rondo works on his shot at all? Him and Hoiberg will be a great fit...just like Spree and Carlesimo. For real though that line about "younger and more athletic" is brutal. I guess the Spurs got younger too adding Gasol.

You can still love the team and hate what they're doing. I'm a Magic fan and have had to put up with some serious stupidity over the years too. You just need a good number two team. Milwaukee is close and Antetokoumpo (sp?) has become pretty fun to watch and Jabari Parker was starting to look pretty good later in the year. There is still good basketball to watch and an easy to hate team in Golden State. Just imagine how obnoxious Draymond Green is going to be next season. I fully expect him to take douche bag to a new level.

Come to think of it I had a very similar feeling when the Magic brought in Steve Francis in the T-Mac deal. I always hated Steve Francis and it was so difficult watching them then even though I was wanting to watch Dwight to see if he could be any hope for the team. We all know what came of that.

Rondo said they have "3 alphas" muahahahahahaha.

Dwight would have really frustrated me. Never worked on his game and always remained 100% reliant on athleticism.

Yes. They swapped Rashard for him. Then they brought in Jason Richardson. I never like those trades considering the team was a Paul Pierce after the buzzer beater away from getting beaten by the Lakers for two years straight but every player they traded (Rashard, Vince, Pietrus) suddenly got injured for the year after being dealt so guess it wouldn't have mattered. Dwight will never have what it takes and worst of all they fired Van Gundy over it knowing he was leaving. Just stupid. Van Gundy was loved around town, still is actually.
