It's the principal of it.
It's your right as an American not to.
This will be the first presidantial election where I've actually let it be known who I'm voting for.
Used to drive my wife crazy, not knowing.

The secret ballot is a pillar of the democratic process, trag.

It might not be rude to ask, but it's definitely rude to press the issue. At least that's what I was taught.

I didn't vote for the winning presidential candidate until the last election. The odds are high that I'll make it two in a row this election, though.

I'd leave the ballot blank before voting Johnson/Weld. Same thing with Stein/whomever.

I disagree. A fulfilling evacuation is ALWAYS postworthy.

Because you believe in the power of a 2-party system?
Not at all. Because I don't support their policies. Also, I think the idea of changing out of the two party system by way of Presidential election is a futile effort that will leave a lot of damage in its wake. It should come from the bottom up, not the top down. Small parties should work to gain footholds in states, start building coalitions in state legislatures, maybe make a run at a governors office, and then set their sights on Congress.

No, because one of them is a buffoon and the other is batshit crazy.

Exactly. It'd be a lot harder to vote pragmatically if one of them wasn't a joke. Though to be honest, even if Johnson wasn't a buffoon I still wouldn't vote for him. Libertarianism is pretty stupid if you ask me.

So you agree with all that, but still want to do the opposite?

As far as third parties in Presidential elections go, I think Perot and Nader are about as successful as you can expect them to be in the modern political climate. So best case scenario, they don't really do shit.
