It’s been telegraphed ever since Ted’s marriage ended, but Ted typing in his phone just after the scene of Rebecca sending a message clinched it.

They will both freak out once they realize what’s happening, and awkwardly distance themselves from each other. It will be dragged out for seasons, and potentiall overshadow all other characters and plots, to the show’s detriment.

Final episode of 100 foot wave. First, that jet ski accident was horrible. Second, how can you not feel bad for Cotty after this series? Seems to get the wrong end throughout his big wave surfing career, and not one camera getting that last wave was just a gut punch.

I saw somewhere that they're working on a second season of this show. I believe they did another Nazare tournament earlier this year. My guess is that will feature heavily into the whatever S2 might be about. But honestly, I hope whatever else it's about, it focuses on Cotty big time. He's one of the best "characters" in this thing and my heart just breaks for him again and again.

I have been thinking about doing an episode guide to Wings. No one is asking for it, obviously, but you fuckwits don’t always know what you need.
