Nice. Maybe I’ll try to lure my wife there for a dinner date Sunday. Or perhaps Thursday since the Packers will be the only game on in the time slot.doug rr wrote:not sure if you want to sneak out late to watch NFL on Sunday but I've watched many college and nfl games at the great Canadian pub in the latin quarter..spike wrote:Had some pretty great pizza for dinner.

Re: Talk about your day thread
Things happened as expected at the work retreat. I stayed out too late. Can’t drink like I used to. Can’t sleep like I used to. Can’t keep up with the millennials.
Glad it was actually tame compared to some previous trips or “team building” events.
Hung mine in the lobby of the Hampton Inn off Speer.

While I was sitting through presentations for this one I got an invite for another one at the end of the month. FML stands for Fuck My Liver.
Go Lions.

It’s a thing. Glad it’s being discussed.Jorge wrote:…one will be about life as a "social media artist," multidisciplinary creativity, and how to stay sane while promoting your work online.
Work / life balance is important to independent artists also.
An MC I contract for projects, works part time as a GC as well.
I just put him on a podcast to talk about this concept.
He was asked how he handles all the negative things or obstacles that hinder progress, etc.
Hope it goes good. Good luck and have fun!

180 pushups
bike sprints into 25 mph winds (listening to RATM Live & Rare)
just ate tacos from local place run by lovely mild-mannered mexican family
bistec and carnitas- huuuuuge portions in each taco. like full possible volume in a taco one could easily be spilt into 3 or 4 instead they give you a mountain of meat in each one
sipping some vino verde
thinking about Dave A

Re: Talk about your day thread
My dog recovered from his previous illness, but can't seem to understand that he isn't three years old anymore and can barely walk now. I know he's not gonna be around very much longer, but I wish he'd stop trying to cripple himself. Because once the legs finally go, I think that's gonna be it for him.
