I was body surfing in some 4-6 ft waves last week and there were a couple times I was like that wave’s too big for me then my 10 year old would take it and I’d feel like a babydad wrote:finished Hacks--what a great series.

finished the series this evening.epilogue wrote:I saw somewhere that they're working on a second season of this show. I believe they did another Nazare tournament earlier this year. My guess is that will feature heavily into the whatever S2 might be about. But honestly, I hope whatever else it's about, it focuses on Cotty big time. He's one of the best "characters" in this thing and my heart just breaks for him again and again.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Final episode of 100 foot wave. First, that jet ski accident was horrible. Second, how can you not feel bad for Cotty after this series? Seems to get the wrong end throughout his big wave surfing career, and not one camera getting that last wave was just a gut punch.
- i said "wow" countless times during this show.
- massive credit to the guy from Nazare who reached out to Garrett to tell him to come there in the first place.
- definitely in Camp Cotty too; i want him to get a hundred-footer badly.
- as much of an arrogant prick Garrett's brother Liam is I laughed so hard when they showed footage of him flipping off other surfers while riding waves.
- Kai Lenny is absolutely sick--many wows were said when they featured him.
- Justine Dupont--also very sick.
- all those big wave surfers are crazy adrenaline junkies, but they love being out there so much, it's hard to not want to root for them all.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. Is everybody still watching Reservation Dogs? We just can’t get into it. It’s ok, but is it worth staying with?

The storytelling was very similar to "The Killing" S01, but I still thought it was excellent.
