I'm actually of the mind that Sabathia has a decent little come back season.

I would be fairly surprised by a Sabathia bounceback, but I would by more surprised if they get full seasons out of Tanaka and Pineda.

I'm really concerned this whole Clemens/Halladay spat is going to have a negative impact on my team chemistry if we ever get around to another franchise tournament.

Jays get Storen for Revere, and the AL East Bullpen-Off continues.

Another year, another Angels leftover headed to Seattle.

Well, he was a part time player basically since he left Atlanta and he hasn't played since 2012.

If having sex with strippers had a hof, he'd be in. Probably the best 10 year stretch of defense by an outfielder though.

Yeah he's been playing in Japan I think. He absolutely loves playing baseball, if he hadn't become addicted to trying to hit Home Runs he would have been fantastic.

Legendary times at the Gold Club here in Atlanta, Greatest 10 year run as a defensive center fielder during my lifetime anyway. There are plenty of people who would say he was overrated defensively, but I don't really care to break it down that far. He was an amazing center fielder.

So I was watching a bunch of episodes of that Top 10 right now show they have on the MLB network. Some of the rankings are absurd. What really struck me though, was Brian Kenny, Bill James and co. saying that errors are irrelevant and don't matter when evaluating a player. This is a perfect example of analytics gone mad. That statement, to me, is more asinine than when people put a lot of stock in Wins when evaluating pitchers.
