A little ad hoc since, you know, virus, but we're opening some sopressata and getting out a hunk of local blue cheese, some applewood smoked cheddar, some pickles our friends made, figs, apple, and a mix of basic crackers and these fancy cocoa and pomegranate ones we have left over.

so, coincidentally, i was going to make chicken soup tonight as well. the first time i made it, i made the egg noodles separately. the second, in the broth. but i noticed that while the noodles tasted better, the consistency of the soup changed, making it super thick like a stew.

oh totally, i agree with that...thats why i only use part of the broth in another sauce pot to make a bowl of soup..i save the rest of the broth incase i just want chicken soup itself with carrots and whatnot..
