It’s absolutely mental.
And the fuckhead far right agitators are instigating it again on all those places like telegram and signal for round two.
It’s scary

Wild, dime. Glad you're ok, that is a scary scene.
Irony of ironies: riot seems to have been set off by far-right anti-immigrant "protesters" following a stabbing of multiple people, including children, in a public attack on Parnell Square. The suspect may be a naturalized Irish citizen, but regardless, rumors began to spread online that he was an immigrant, starting the whole riot.
But guess who stopped the attack in the first place? Yup, a Brazilian delivery driver, who jumped off his motorcycle and punched the guy in the head with his motorcycle helmet.

Irish police are questioning an Algerian man suspected of stabbing a woman and three children outside a school, in an attack that sparked a night of furious riots, looting and anti-immigrant protests in Dublin.
The Irish Times reported that the suspect is believed to be "a naturalized Irish citizen, who has lived here for 20 years."
A woman and a five-year-old girl he allegedly stabbed are in a serious condition in hospital. A 43-year-old Brazilian Deliveroo driver, Caio Benicio, was widely praised for jumping off his moped and knocking the man over the head with his helmet. Other people rushed forward to grab the knife.
Siobhan Kearney, who witnessed the stabbing, said the scene was "absolutely bedlam."
"Without thinking, I just took across the road to help out," she told Irish national broadcaster RTE. "We got another young man, disarmed [the attacker] with the knife, another man took the knife and put it away for the [police] to find it."
Kearney said a group of people restrained the suspect on the ground, as some of those injured were taken back inside the school. One Irish woman and one American woman stood in front of the suspect to stop people from beating him. A photo at the scene shows the middle-aged suspect with blood in his mouth lying on the ground.
The attack occurred at an Irish language primary school, Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday on Parnell Square East, in Dublin's north inner city, an area with a large number of low-income housing projects.
Irish police, known as gardaí, are still establishing if the attacker is mentally ill or if he was motivated by political or racial hate. Police Commissioner Drew Harris refused to rule out the possibility that the stabbing attack was terror-related.
The fact that a man attacked a school run through the Irish, or Gaelic, language helped fuel an outpouring of rage that saw anti-immigrant riots, lootings and arson in the hours that followed. Police struggled to contain the crowds, who attacked them on the street, and burned a hotel housing asylum seekers as well as a tram, a double decker bus and a police car.

The nucleus of the early rioters may have been an existing anti-immigrant protest, relatively small. I'm no expert in Irish domestic politics, but I wouldn't be surprised if a fair amount of those folks drove into the city for the day and then took the opportunity to have some fun and destroy dime's neighborhood

Coláiste mhuire was my high school. On Parnell square. This outside the primary school. All this 1 street over from my place. It’s an absolute headfuck.
They beat the bastard almost to death once they got the knife off him.
Doesn’t help anything but, Good. He deserves it.
Tonight it’s likely to kick off again. Already sirens all over the place. Glad I did a big food shop yesterday.

There’s a massive and growing wealth inequality in Ireland. In Dublin particularly.
And the king festering sentiment same as you’ll see all over Europe, immigrants coming here and getting houses etc and government don’t look after us.
There is some smalltruth in some of it wrt benefits and payments immigrants and asylum seekers get but majority of it nonsense and blown up by racist assholes.
And the massive housing estates around the city where unemployment and lack of engagement with opportunities and prospects, there are endless opportunities esp when it comes to education and funding but those communities just don’t engage with that. Those teenage lads are the ones who just came into town and joined in last night and wrecked the place. Why would you wreck your own city? Well if you feel left behind am marginalised that’s exactly what you’ll do when you see the chance to do it

Just to add all the worst american and European far right outlets on twitter are posting all the videos saying it was black and Muslim immigrants doing the rioting and looting.
It was 100% not. It was kids from Dublin.

Impossible. Everyone knows that the US is the only place in the world where racism exists and it’s a terrible place to live.

My kids got a last minute invite to dinner with a friend and Mrs. Bam already had her own plans so I lucked out of movie night with the kids and get beer & football solo instead.
