You will call in a bomb threat and ruin the race.

Running every day is a young man's game, and you ain't so young anymore.
Not exactly related to your post, but this thread is so solid. I've only begun to hit a few of these points in my own running but I buy into this line of thinking 100%
"Most over training is under-recovering"
Unfortunately true--I'm about to enter my Jesus year. Probably doesn't help that I'm generally a vehement anti-runner with low arches, so those inner knee ligaments are out of shape and taking a bit of a beating.

No One:
Me: Let's talk about gear today.
All I want is a Ten Thousand top to look fly on race day. They're so fucking expensive. Real nice, though.
- Spoiler: show

Roark shirts are really cool too, but also expensive and not sure I could pull them off. Not the biggest fan of graphics unless they really speak to me. The graphics look cool as hell but the words on these shirts are corny.

11.25 miles at 9:05 average pace. Race is two weeks away and I'm feeling confident in my sub 2 hour goal. Kept it slow the first four miles today then built up gradually after mile 6. By mile 7 I was holding steady under 9:00/m. Final mile was 8:15!
However, I need to dial in pre-run fueling or I'll have a major porta-can slowdown on race day. I'm eating a pop tart 15 minutes before my long runs since I wake at crack of dawn. I should let it settle. Or switch back to graham crackers.
I hope everyone enjoys their running today.

Congrats on the run and good luck with the race.
I’ve finally set some running goals and have a plan. Hopefully those will help me stick with it. I want to see where I can get in the next three months.

That's great. Going to be optimal weather for some goals the next few months. What kind of things are you aiming for?
Congrats on the run and good luck with the race.
Thanks man.

Did two miles and didn’t walk. Time wasn’t, but I wanted to take it easy since I’m going to do a long one tomorrow.

I haven't ran in a few days.. its steamingly hot where i am at the moment. every day i don't run brings me down!
Tomorrow after work, I could add an extra detour? what is some steamy summer music i can listen to that has a relaxed hypnotic tempo that would help me keep going?

3.1 miles today with legs that should feel fresh but didn't. Could be nearing the end of my beloved kinvara 11s...
