You suggested political violence is ok in situations where the processes of the republic are suspended, such as what was outlined by McP scenario one of of the possible Trump outcomes , then McP gave the example of the American revolution as a situation where political violence lead to a net positive result. You replied “exactly”. How is that not comparing the situations?

the point was that if the POTUS obstructs justice in order to preserve office after colluding with a foreign government to interfere in the election, and the congressional fail-safe fails, then that motherfucker got to go - somehow, including by force

A. Correct, basically. They are people of no consequence. The Evolution professor at my alma matter did not believe in evolution, and it was well known that you had to agree with his arguments to get a passing grade. He should have been fired, but it only made him a joke to his students. And for people to waste time talking about it two states over would have been a poor use of their time and energy.

B. If the amount of time you have spent thinking about individual norm-deviant culture-grump dumb-dumbs who are not also exceptionally financially or politically powerful, or who aren't well-organized and violent, is just 1/10,000th of the time you've spent thinking about, say, the privatization of incarceration, the Rohingya, or the near total stripping of corporate crimes investigation....then you're still thinking about it way too much.

I kinda get the feeling that Trump wouldn't pardon anyone because he thinks that anyone dumb enough to get caught is a weak pussy and that they are against him. He's not exactly loyal to his friends. He's the worst ally you could have, really.
