Ah, for some reason I thought the premiere was over seas tonight.

I wonder why they are doing it tonight anyway...

As long as those shows run Thursday-Sunday, then yes, they apply.

The Argonaut wrote:Domestic Box-Office Opening Weekend guesses?
The #1 opening weekend of all-time right now is, surprisingly, Jurassic World at $208,806,270. #2 and #3 are Avengers 1 and 2 at $207mil and $191mil respectively. The rest of the top ten are an assortment of Marvel, Harry Potter, Batman, and Hunger Games movies, all breaking $150 million. In 1999, Phantom Menace had amassed over $105 million by the end of its first weekend (it opened on a Wednesday).
I predict this will take the top spot handily, hitting $230 million opening weekend. (I made this number up, I don't even know if it's possible.)
I'd like to see more guesses; I'll keep track!

Simple Torture - $245 million
Argo - $230 million
Two fiddy.
Two fiddy one.

There is a channel on FIOS where you can watch the red carpet, and I have no doubt it'll be fucking insufferable. But I'll give it a whirl for ten minutes.

The stream cut out for most of it but he kept saying "its a family opera" Its a "family story" Kept looking away. Short answers. Was a total dick. The interviewers could feel it too. Very awkward moment. Talking about how he's going to make movies that nobody gets to see except himself and his friends.

It's still a family story for fuck sake. Good grief.

On a side note, I watched the Phantom Edit last night.

I think he's also pissed that they basically took his ideas for the new films and told him to shove it up his butt
