speaking of which, is that actually the actor inside that thing? I seem to recall the timing of the announcement being after scenes were already being shot so is that a placeholder actor and what's-his-face is just the processed voice?
totally talking out my ass with no Google to back me up.

Interesting to see the mando doesnt get the little yoda uses the force. I know Jedis arent a thing in this timeline...but Luke? He killed the emperor 5 or 8 years ago....he must have listened about it.

The empire had a long long head start wiping out all tales of the Jedi. And the force.
These guys are living in a new era and the rebellion won. Not the Jedi.
Luke wasn’t one for the spotlight. And politicians. He was a legend throughout the galaxy.
The legends of Luke skywalker book is a great read for this. Compilation of short stories /Chinese whispers that made him myth.
He’s even in two of them questioning the narrator.
Worth a listen.

Fan theory, Baby Yoda was born the same year as Anakin, and is, thus, the light rising to meet Vader's dark.

It’s Luke and Leia that restore balance according to a Lucas via Filoni.

But at this point, Vader’s already dead.

There’s evidence to suggest baby and Anakin are exactly the same age.
I wouldn’t buy the above theory. The baby even being out there could upend canon already.
How the Jedi order didn’t know about this baby when they know where all force sesnsitive children are and come to take them, is problematic.

I’m really enjoying these binge mode podcasts on Star Wars
Found them too hyperactive and over caffeinated to begin with but I got into the swing of it

I liked the second ep better than the first. I’m fully onboard with the main theme music. The rest is pedestrian. I think my expectations going in were too high in terms of the narrative and thus I’m left a bit wanting at the story being told thus far, i.e. “when is this show going to kick into high gear?” The stakes feel too low. I’m probably judging it too harshly and need to give it time to develop.

I wouldn’t expect anything too dramatically weighty in this series tbh. Given the brevity of each episode and how effectively it makes its points this is exactly what you’re going to get in the remaining episodes.
That said, there are a good few characters yet to be introduced so I could be totally wrong but it’ll be Star Wars. Not dense high drama.

This whole Yoda youngling will be interesting. If it's not in the new trilogy, then something must have happened to it, right? Wonder how they'll handle that since it's a "child" and this is Disney
