Yeah I'm hoping a 'Sony endorsed' larger SSD/expansion is released not long after launch. Going to cost another couple hundred bucks easy given it's SSD, but I'd rather get the storage upgrade done early so I'm good for a while. I already have a pretty long list of (large) PS4 games that I want to put on this baby.

I'm just going to use my external HDD. It's very rare for me to play more than 2-3 games at a time, so swapping things around shouldn't be a big deal.

I’m deleting a bunch of stuff to get ready for launch. Time to get cutthroat!

Any idea on how many gb a PS5 / XSX game will be?

xbox's UI will run at 1080p... even on a 4k tv... weird

My Series X just shipped from Memphis. Didn’t expect that location.

Watching all the Gears 5 showcases today is going to get me to try that game. 4k, 120fps. Oh yeah.

I like 60 fps or more for some games, but not all. Is that weird?

Shipping originated in Louisville for me and is in NJ right now. I could legit get this tomorrow. All I would need is a game that doesn't require any updates - that's not going live until November 10.

I’m in Colorado. I haven’t played Gears 5 so it’ll all be new to me.

Oh wait mine originated in Louisville too. In Memphis now.

I hope new games will have all XSX files on the disk. I'll buy 1 game on launch day. Hopefully, I can play on day 1. If it's a 65 gb file, that would take me 2+ days to download, at best.

Also just read that any remaining PS5 orders will be online only on launch day. There will supposedly be no in store units available (i.e., no camping out the night before release), no surprises just sharing the info

It's actually a relief to me there won't be any in store. I was debating whether I should hunt one down in a store or just wait who knows how long for my order to arrive.

Target's excess PS5 units will need to be bought online and picked up at stores.
