There are two good HD versions of Dawn of the Dead ‘78 on YouTube, watched the extended cut last night. Highly recommended, esp since it seemingly will always be hard to find and expensive on Blu-ray/4K.

Finally saw Evil Dead Rise. Was better than I expected it to be. Loved the gore and Alyssa Sutherland was awesome as Ellie. Only complaint was that it had too many modern day horror cliches.
Also watched Renfield. Holy shit, this movie ruled. Was really funny, gory and awesome action set pieces. Reminded me a lot of Kick Ass. Cage, Hoult, and Awkwafina were all great. Wish they would have used less CGI gore, but this was one of times when it bothered me least.

finally watched Evil Dead Rise, happy to say I loved it - scary, emotional, tons of fun; so much cinematic eye candy, the actors were fantastic, and the intro / outro scenes were spectacular
I love Lee Cronin, hope he gets to do something original with a big budget next time

slightly confused that Evil Dead Rise had "modern horror cliches" but Renfield was almost flawless

New Scream movie will be directed by Christopher Landon, which is interesting...he is a pretty cool writer/director.
I wonder if Jenna Ortega will come back.
