I'm sorry I'm late to the party. Any chance you might repost these downloads? They've since expired, and I would love to hear them. Thanks!dad wrote:joostone wrote:Sirius celebrates the 25th anniversary aswell!

Listen closely and you’ll hear them quickly mention Ed played bass on Satan’s Bed.

Re: Yield: Official Album Thread
so i've been listening to this album almost exclusively with this re-worked tracklist for the past 6 months or so. i don't think that i'll ever go back.joostone wrote:1- MFCjoostone wrote:I always wondered why the song order in the booklet is different. Does anybody know?
2- Push me, Pull me
3- Do the Evolution
4- Faithfull
5- Brain of J
6- Lowlight
7- Wishlist
8- Given to Fly
9- In Hiding
10- Pilate
11- No Way
12- (red dot)
13- All those yesterdays
Ok, this is the booklet order. Was this suppose to be the tracklist? It makes way too much sense to just be random? Did they changed the order before it's release. Like they did with Binaural only this time no one knows?

This has always been the superior track listing.Chris_H_2 wrote:so i've been listening to this album almost exclusively with this re-worked tracklist for the past 6 months or so. i don't think that i'll ever go back.joostone wrote:1- MFCjoostone wrote:I always wondered why the song order in the booklet is different. Alt. tracklist looks good but Brain of J does exactly what's needed to open an album like Yield IMO.

Yeah, he really elevated the band into a unique musical space they just can't access without him (and probably couldn't be repeated now, though I'd welcome them to try).96583UP wrote:jack really was special

All the years I've listened to Yield, on so many different music systems and I've never noticed how good those drums sounded until I was listening to the Sirius playback with Stone and Jeff. Strange you noticed it too. Was it a different mix?96583UP wrote:thanks for posting!emanon wrote:links to yield thing

no offense to Matt Cameron (who belongs in soundgarden) but Binaural probably would have turned out way cooler / better with Jack on the kitBirds in Hell wrote:Yeah, he really elevated the band into a unique musical space they just can't access without him (and probably couldn't be repeated now, though I'd welcome them to try).96583UP wrote:jack really was special
