I'm seeing Tweedy next Wednesday. Wilco/Jeff were also a major influence for me going back to 2000 or so. I'm hoping seeing Jeff will cleanse my pallet after what has been a pretty rough week.

I mean, I have my niche, and I would be honored, but I don't think of myself as a poster who really embodies all facets of the RM experience. Do you get a trophy or something, or some prize money? I could definitely walk back some of my statements about Ryan Adams if there was potentially some prize money in it for me.

Wisenbacker has been working with Adams for a few years, and he’s also one half of La Sera with his wife, the Vivian Girls member Katy Goodman. (Adams produced La Sera’s 2016 album Music For Listening To Music To.)
