All the others looked like 360 games.
2k14 is awesome. Some of the modes lack some of the features found in current gen but the gameplay is almost identical. The graphics and animations are incredible. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
Even just watching the stream I was amazed at the lighting and shadows.

All the EA games they have played, even Madden, are just meh. Starting with the animations. Movements are so harsh and jittery.

Eco-Motion really focused on just 2k14 whereas Ignite is used in all the EA sports which seems a disadvantage.
Yeah, I was able to get free DL codes for NBA 2K14 and Madden. NBA looks and plays fantastic; Madden to me feels like a PS2 game.
I don't understand how EA can drop the ball (pun intended) on these sports games. They've known about these new consoles for awhile now.
I don't care about the sports games at all, just as long as the other EA-owned properties are good (Mass Effect, Dead Space, Dragon Age, etc.).
Can't wait for Titanfall. That's probably when I'll pick up the box.

Madden hasn't been great for a while. I read that their exclusive license with the NFL expires this year, so it would be great if it wasn't renewed and 2k was allowed to come back.

Their NHL game was great a few years back, but now they've started mailing it in, and it's not even a next gen game either. Unfortunate.

I also wonder what will happen with the NFL license. At least the team that works on NCAA football can help with next year's version if they make it.

Did you pre-order? They might be hard to find. The biggest Walmart by me only had 4 in stock. There was no line for it or anything, but I'm glad I went at midnight to get it.

No, but the local GameStop said they were going to have plenty on hand. I called the guy last night (he knows my kid pretty well) and he said they have a bunch in stock and don't expect a big rush for them until people get out of school/work today. I'm going at lunch today to pick it up.

I hope he loves it. It's a really nice looking system!

How the hell have you not played Link to the Past? It's probably the best game ever.

My gaming systems: Nintendo, game boy, sega genesis, playstation, ps2, ps3, 3ds. Kinda missed out on a whole Nintendo run for about 15 years.

Got my XBox One today. Haven't played any games, but talking to it and it listening and doing what you ask is cool. Feels like the future.

What are some new features that really stand out to you? (Did you have an XBox 360?)

Guys, I'm so excited. Got the new Zelda 3DS XL with the new Zelda game of course. I got Fire Emblem Awakening, Scribblenauts Unmasked, and Monster Hunter Ultimate.

The 3DS itself is is in layaway but I'm going to pay it off Tuesday or Wednesday and most of my games should come in the mail by then.

I also got, supposedly, the best case and screen protector for the 3DS XL. They only make the clear version of this case in Japan so I had to get it on ebay.

Here's the screen protector

I want to keep this baby in the best shape possible. I guess a lot of people think it's hideous, but I think it's really nice looking. Not as nice as the 25th anniversary DS though.

Only cause I'll one day sell this on ebay/craigslist and this will probably hold some value. Zelda collectibles are always easy to sell. I think the old DS Lite Zelda console sells for 150ish used still. Crazy
