I am on the second song and this may already be album of the year. It’s almost not fair.
Aren't you stuck in 1991 McFly?
I took a breath for the Stones and this when I get to the rest. Plus, starting on 1992 next so getting the modern music next.

This album starts incredibly and then remains consistently great the rest of the way. I keep going back to that opening track, though. What a banger
Microphone check 1-2, 1-2

I'm discovering (to the utter shock of NO ONE) that albums sometimes, you know, get better the more time and attention you give them.
This one is no different. My "hot take" out of the gate was that it's a little samey (but it's okay because I like the same). But on a second listen, this thing has really grown on me. I imagine it'll keep opening up, too.
Bottom line, dude plays a mean solo and I could listen to him wail, even if it's gibberish.

I feel streaming kinda does that to the listener joe. We forget sometimes to take more time with an album and some how form an opinion after just one listen.
Luckily you are a seasoned music fan but i wonder how kids feel about this.

That's a good point.

I pre-ordered the new live St. Vincent album from Rough Trade. I got an email that it was ready for pick up. While I was there I also went ahead and grabbed Jack's new record on vinyl.
