In the synopsis of each episode on Netflix it always refers to characters by their comic book names, but then in the actual show they never use these comic book names. I really wish they would use their comic book names, at least a little bit.

The first half of the final season of Mad Men was really fucking good.

This is not something I ever expected to like, but I'm currently binge-watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix. I'm close to the end of season 2 right now. I gotta say, I am really digging this show.

In my opinion seasons 1-3 are excellent, 4 is decent, 5 sucked, 6 was decent, and we'll see about this last one.

Although 5 sucked, my favorite episode of the series was in that season.

I've caught pieces of a few Bob's Burgers episodes this summer, and I really like it so far. I was going to start from the beginning on Netflix. Is it a plot driven show? If I don't catch up by the time the new season starts, will I be lost?

Extant is quite possibly a more awful show than even Under the Dome

No, most episodes are stand-alone. Even within the seasons themselves they seem to be shown out of order sometimes, with slight continuity inconsistencies. No big deal. It's still really great.

Dvr'd Ken Burns' The Roosevelts PBS documentary this week. Halfway through it now.
