I actually picked my fourth outfielder (Sam Jethroe) before my third outfielder (if Hoot Evers was gone, Curt Flood was my second choice).

I am very content with Doby, Joe D, Maris and Bob Cerv in the OF. Which means they probably won't produce. I am considering hiring a a bench coach.

So I was just comparing my team from this tournament with my team from the last one on WhatIf. My hitters are significantly worse this time (which is saying a lot, cause my team hit like garbage in the last one), and my pitchers are far, far inferior (except for Koufax, of course).
I may seriously need Koufax to go 14-0. And I seriously believe he just might.

I am happy runnels was still there because he is a LHH IF who can play any IF position. Gives me some flexability. He may be my zobrist!

I'm shooting to open the season on Sunday (Monday at the latest). I'm gonna need someone to help me run some games from the 9th through the 15th. I was hoping either Skitch or chud could step in on the days I won't be able to. Or Dick Radatz.
