He wore this recently when he went against Darkseid who is a Superman level bad guy. Like Platy said it's basically depends on the situation and who he is facing and of course what the artist thinks looks cool. I'm sure a lot of times he's in cloth cause that tears and you can see him bleeding.

Which explains why he's so interested in seeing Superman bleed.

Batman is incorruptable. Why on earth would he want to fight superman? Sounds like its lex luthers doing but that would mean he is more powerful than Batmans arch nemesis the joker?

Seriously, Superman can just laser beam him in the mouth!

All this does is make me want to sit on the couch for the next 8 hours and watch the Nolan trilogy.

Im not a comic book guy so i get that I shouldnt get it....

But. Still. batman.

I think the Nolan movies were especially good for the non-comic book / animated series watching general pop., and I enjoyed them ok too, but neither the characters or the movies themselves were very "likeable". I realized after the newness wore off that I just didn't give a shit about them. If it wasn't for Heath Ledger, I don't think half as many people care half as much either.

I'm ready for a more confident, tougher, more brutal, even almost seeming unhinged at times without losing the mental edge version of Batman. And yah, sometimes the world he lives in gets strange or kind of silly. It's not meant to be realistic and frankly it kind of sucks the fun out of it.

Having said that, I'm not holding my breath after seeing the first trailer for BvS.

My issue with this new thing isn't so much that it'll be different from Nolan. Again, I encourage that. But I'm worried about Snyder and his vision for the character. But I want it to be different. Hopefully, it can be both different and good. But I have my doubts this time around.

I'm fine with a reboot. I'm fine with a more comicy version of batman. But fighting superman is stupid. batman mixing with the justice league is stupid.

You know what was awesome in Avengers. When Hawkeye went toe to toe with Hulk, and Blackwidow fought Iron Man, and then Daredevil came up and fought Tor.

Stip, in the Dark Knight Rises why instead of fighting Bane hand to hand didn't Batman just take out a gun and shoot him in the head?
