Watched this today... it’s different. That’s for sure.

If you like super hero movies, as I do, I think you have to be happy with this?? I agree with the too much slow motion, but the whole thing is just a giant over-indulgence. But instead of only indulging in the action, they also do it with the story telling. It’s really long, I took a couple of breaks, but I was never bored. I like how it’s separated into parts. I can’t see myself sitting through 4 hours straight again, but rewatching a part now and then, yes. Really not a fan of Aquaman but I liked the rest of the characters. Interesting turn for Superman. He was always my favorite as a kid, I like Cavill, I hope they don’t mess him up.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised. It’s dark but not that dark. I thought it was fun. Maybe a little too oriented toward the parents who still feel nostalgic for these movies, hence the R rating. (I love them, so not complaining).

Yep I liked it better than those though I did like those other movies but with reservations....with this one I already came to terms with those reservations so I enjoyed it for what it was if that makes sense. At the moment I'd say its the best DCEU movie.

I also like how Snyder was trying to actually do something different than Marvel and the comics. He was really pushing for a different story here.

The DC - Warner guys are totally lost..they choose to shelve this movie and go with that horrible whedon one. Its baffling.

I'd love to see a 2.5 hour movie all about the Knightmare... Just awesome.
Even if the storyline didn't go full "Injustice", the aesthetic and team-ups are interesting enough.

I'm sure they weren't expecting Snyder to come back, and they needed a product in theaters immediately so they could stop hemorrhaging money. I'm bummed for Whedon that the original release has to be the Josstice League. I'm sure it's not "his vision." He was asked to clean up a dropped project under what were certainly impossible restraints.

I think replacing Snyder was more opportunistic than anything. The suits were fucking with him every chance they could. They wanted Avengers: Justice League and he wasn't giving them that. Regardless they weren't going to let him release a 4 hour movie he would have had to cut it up and who knows how that would have played. Really he needs to make theatrical budget movies on streamers were he can play to his strengths and overindulge on time.

They could have ask Zack about it. All Whedon did with the material was just horrible. The jokes, the new scenes, the story. Its all just so fucking horrible i cant believe those guys chose to release that movie.
