Ok, here is my second draft. Would love some additional ideas for questions because ideally I'd like to get to ten numbered, scored questions. Will make a dedicated thread sometime this afternoon.
[Insert Your Username]'s Game of Thrones Predictions

1. When the credits roll after SE08EP06, the recognized ruler of the Seven Kingdoms will be: __________ (10 pts)

2. When the credits roll after SE08EP06, the following three characters will still be alive: ____________ (3 pts each)

3. When the credits roll after SE08EP06, the following three characters will be dead: ____________ (3 pts each)

4. When the credits roll after SE08EP06, how many dragons will still be alive? (Note: for the purposes of this question, wight-dragons count as alive): ________ (5 points)

5. Will the following minor or missing-for-a-while characters appear on-screen at any point during Season 8? (1 pt each): Hot Pie (yes/no); Quaithe (yes/no); Daario Naharis (yes/no); Illyrio Mopatis (yes/no); Jaqen H'ghar (yes/no)

6. Which assumed-dead character will return on-screen (in the present timeline) in Season 8? (note: returning as a wight counts) _______ (10 pts)

7. Will any named character be raised from the dead (either through praying to the Red God, being raised as a wight, or some other method) during Season 8? yes/no (5 pts) (BONUS: +10 points if you predict "yes" and correctly guess the character)

8. Will any White Walkers speak during Season 8? yes/no (3 pts)

Final Question (no points, for funsies): Make a bold prediction about the final season that is not covered in any question above and can't really be measured on a right/wrong scale. Some prompts to get you started: how do you think the arc of the final season will play out? Are there going to be any swerves to the living vs. dead war that the series has been building towards? If you could end the series in a satisfying way for yourself, what would it be?
Interested in who else I could add to Question #5. Also shaping a question about cities/structures still standing after the season (i.e., the Red Keep and Winterfell) but looking for more examples.

Nice long piece here on the one element of Season 8 that I am simultaneously so excited about and so worried about:

My wife, who "meh'd" out on GOT a few months ago once we got through Season 2 Episode 7, decided yesterday that she wants to continue watching. Going to re-watch with her throughout Season 8, I guess.

We watched SE02EP08 last night, so we have....what...49 episodes left in seasons 2-7? We could conceivably watch 1 per day and maybe get caught up so we can watch the series finale together. We'll see. She liked the episode we just watched, but that was probably because there was no magic (which she thinks is corny) and no rape (which, well), but I dunno if we can stick to that pace.

I really had to scramble to finish the Battlestar Gallactica series before Netflix took it out of rotation. Like staying up til 3-4am squeezing in episodes. I must have watched 5-6 in the last day before the clock ran out. Kinda ruined it for me. I wouldn’t break my neck to squeeze it all in if I were your wife. I advise to watch at a comfortable pace. Plus I like watching it myself rather than along with Mrs. Bam anyway.

Maybe I'm dumb and haven't thought of this before, but was just listening to a podcast that tried to parse this: is Visyerion a wight or a White Walker? Wights are usually raised through the whole raising-of-arms thing, while new White Walkers are born of touch (think of Craster's last son). The Night King touched the dragon to bring hil back / transform him. I guess this seems significant because WWs and wights have different vulnerabilities, and also because WWs seems to retain sentience while wights are more like zombies. Not sure how/if the show will draw that distinction.

I didn’t even think of the whole transformation by touch. I just assumed it was a WW based on the blue eyes.

Considering how awfully downhill the show has gone the past 2-3 seasons, I propose we all just stop watching.

Yes! Better than Battle of Bastards.
