got a wok for my birthday. made my first stir fry last night with the help of ChatGPT. turned out pretty great, eating leftovers now
Jonathan’s Chicken and Veggie Stir Fry

A big, flavorful family-style stir fry with tender chicken, crisp veggies, and a rich soy-honey sauce that perfectly coats the rice.

Ingredients
Chicken & Oil

3.58 lbs chicken tenderloins, cut into long ½-inch-wide strips (not bite-size)

10 tablespoons (about ⅔ cup) vegetable oil for cooking

Vegetables

3 bell peppers (any colors), sliced into strips

1 large red onion (yellow or sweet onion also optional), sliced

3 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced on a diagonal

2 zucchinis, halved lengthwise and sliced into half-moons

1½ cups green beans, trimmed

1 small can water chestnuts, drained

Optional additions: snap peas or baby corn

Sauce

1 cup soy sauce

4 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons rice vinegar or lime juice

2–3 teaspoons minced garlic

2 teaspoons grated ginger (optional)

Chili flakes or sriracha (optional, to taste)

Optional variation: Substitute 2–3 tablespoons brown sugar for the honey for a deeper, caramel-like sweetness

Thickening Slurry

2 tablespoons cornstarch

¼ cup cold water

(For extra thickness, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water and add at the end if needed.)

To Serve

6–8 cups cooked brown rice
