Re: Election 2016
I think if either candidate declares they are out of Syria completely, they would pick up a point or two. We have no allies there and no way to win. Bizarrely, the Right here is very anti-Syrian War, maybe more than the Left. I don't know how the fuck that happened.
Apparently our "allies" are using chemical weapons now.

I bet they were spraying chem trails while all that was happening so the sheeple would never know.
*side note: didnt Anonymous say that Epstein had videos of people like Bill Clinton engaged in such acts?

Trump's lines are pretty good here.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Seeing a lot more Hillary For Clinton bumper stickers and trump signs recently. Ugh. Is this where I live?

This is dating myself, but the Brothers Chaps should totally do some sort of parody mix of Clinton's emails with Strong Bad's emails.

Vail doesn't strike me as particularly Trump-friendly, at least not overtly so, but you'd know better than I would.Strat wrote:Seeing a lot more Hillary For Clinton bumper stickers and trump signs recently. Ugh. Is this where I live?

I can't put my finger on it. The county in general is fairly rural. You have Vail which is the tourism hub and ski industry but the surrounding towns can be long term mountain rural folks. We'll find out in a week, i suppose.Green Habit wrote:Vail doesn't strike me as particularly Trump-friendly, at least not overtly so, but you'd know better than I would.Strat wrote:Seeing a lot more Hillary For Clinton bumper stickers and trump signs recently. Please, this isn't the Bey-Hive. I made multiple "Berninating the countryside" jokes in this thread.Green Habit wrote:This is dating myself, but the Brothers Chaps should totally do some sort of parody mix of Clinton's emails with Strong Bad's emails.

Trump supporters are loud and proud, is all. I see way more Trump signs here in MA, one of the bluest states in the country, for what it's worth.

Friendly reminder that Scott Brown was elected Senator here. Massachusetts is weird.Self wrote:Trump supporters are loud and proud, is all. I see way more Trump signs here in MA, one of the bluest states in the country, for what it's worth.

Yeah, we like Republican governors too...as long as they're the kind that get everyone health insurance.tragabigzanda wrote:Yea, there are an inordinate amount of millionaires in MA, particularly in the eastern (more densely populated) part of the state. Also, I don't know this for a fact, but I'd imagine the urban vs. rural divide for Trump/Clinton supporters can be pretty stark. Hard to have a lawn sign without a lawn.

Sometimes they seem more political than comedy. Kind of insufferable.bart wrote:I can't tell how I feel about the fact that cracked.com offers political commentary.
