I’m 8 episodes in to The Lost Symbol so I can’t quit now … but … it’s not good.

I read the book YEARS ago so I don’t really remember. But I wanna say no, the show isn’t ringing many bells. I kinda feel like the story is a lot different.

Some stuff off the dvr from this weekend.
First up The Simpons latest episode. It was odd they started with a viewer discretion advisory. A different toned episode that is a take off of A Simple Plan and Fargo that finished with a “to be continued” note, a rare two parter. Some unusual violence earned the advisory. I like it when they mix it up with these non-canon shows; they don’t always work but it’s some variety in an old formula. And this was a good one too.
Next up is SNL.

I've been watching random Portlandia clips on YouTube. Never seen this show before. Hilarious stuff.

American rust.

Loving it

Not unlike the many other dark and depressing small town drug riddled cop drama but super enjoying the story

Just finished season 5 of Brooklyn Nine Nine. After being remarkably consistent, the show is starting to show signs of dipping in quality.

Taking a break from it and starting season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows. It's a solid show, but needs to develop a little better.

After a long break starting back Lost re-watch as well. A few episodes into Season 3.
