by percentage of eligible voters, or simply by overall numbers? because if the latter, that's a no-brainer.

The election doesn’t even happen for another week, and we’re already at 50% of 2016’s turnout.

Trump's just stuffing the donations in his pockets at this point.

I'm extremely curious to see if there are any democrats left in Texas to show up to vote on election day. I feel like the majority of early votes are going to the dems and the election day votes will be mostly GOP. Just a hunch.

+2 since yesterday's post! Mods, are there a lot of new users registering?
Also, to be clear, I am not going "towards the right". Just running away from this.

I enjoyed the rap battle. It was better than this week's SNL.

I imagine that, given how masks and social distancing has become politicized, this is the dynamic in a lot of states.

Not so fun fact: Our governor issued an executive order stating that every county is only allowed *ONE* mail ballot drop off location. Lower courts overturned it, but higher courts are now upholding the law.
My county, for instance, is bigger than Rhode Island and has a population of over 4 million people. One fucking box located near the NFL stadium for all county mail-in votes.
There have also been attempts to halt drive-up early voting, but those have failed so far.
Given this obviously suppression, it is absolutely mind-blowing that Texas early voter turnout is shattering records.

Just be sure to be civil when you call out these blatant moves to suppress the vote.
