Took me like an hour just trying it over and over again.
I am totally blanking on this. Either I haven’t tried it yet, or I must have done it quickly and not had all this trouble (aka dumb luck).

Is it an optional mini game or is it part of tha main quest? What do you get when you land it?
You just go to the middle of the mountain, which is lava. It's best to glide down, and if you hit the exact center of the lava, you fall through to a room with a chest. If you don't, you die. But playing with the invisibility armor gets old because you can look anything you want with ease. Except guardians and Gannon see you with it on
This sounds made up

I stayed up way too late last night only to die in Room 23 of the master sword trial AFTER killing the Lynel.

I ran out of arrows and it’s like my brain went completely dark.

Next time I will get in a tree and throw bombs down at the bokoblins.

There was a similar boss trial in a previous game (Twilight Princess?) to earn a shield. I think I tried twice, got nowhere fast, and said fuck it.

For some reason I really want to beat this one and it’s doable.

I did level 1 and forgot about them. They take so damned long and you can't save.

F$&@ me. Got to the first Lynel tonight and equipped an ice arrow instead of ancient arrow. Needless to say it didn’t go well after that.

Finally got that last shine. It was that one that you had to activate during a blood moon. I was getting really pissed off.

That Gear of the Wild is pretty fucking lame.

Guess I'll work on levels 2 and 3 of the sword trials now.

whenever I wasn't trying to activate that shrine, I'd get a blood moon every other night. But when I went to activate the shrine it took like ten days for it to appear.

I like the Champion tunic, tbh. Blue is a good color on Link.

Finally beat the master trials with plenty of arrows, hearts, meals, and fairies to spare.

It was an exercise in patience, mostly.

A third lockdown was announced here the other day.

‘Fuck that!’ Says I.

Decided to go get me a switch and play breath of the wild again.

Turns out. It’s old out absolutely everywhere. Even on the Nintendo online store. They had a couple on amazon Germany. But it wouldn’t get here until mid February (thanks to brexit) and was €100 more expensive for some reasons.

Put a shout out on twitter and voila! Guy I know hooked me up with a brand new one and Breath of the wild.

So I started again last night and got the great plateau Shrines done. Now I’m gonna just spend the afternoon cruising around looking for things I missed. Already found a couple of seeds just from memory.

This is gonna be a long lockdown so I’m not rushing anything and I’m gonna explore everything nook and cranny. I got the two Expansion packs so the map tracker will be an immense help on that regard.

Love being back in here. Will be keeping it this time.
