You wouldn't. You would say "Queens of the Stone Age is a great band."
Queens of the Stone Age sure are!
In this sentence, "Queens" is the subject and "of the Stone Age" would be the prepositional phrase describing the subject "Queens." It's the same as saying "Queens sure are!" Which, in this instance, is incorrect.

Honestly? I don't love anything about QOTSA. Even this thread is just kind of fun for a minute and then tedious. Like, I like having fun in this thread more than the thread is fun. Is that an accurate analogy for the band?
