Chicago's mayor was either dem or prog, but Wisconsin has almost washed itself of the Scott Walker stains, no?
Good job, GOP.

Wonder what happens when it comes out gop'ers in that chamber have protested at other times... I wonder this.
Also just read that there is nothing stopping these three from running in the special elections for their seats. So they'll be right back in there.

What does that mean to expel someone in this case?
Expel an elected official?

They'll probably be re-appointed by local officials before a special election in which they can run. Be mad at Roberts Rules of Orders I guess, but this is mostly theater.

So they kicked out the two young black representatives but kept the 60-year old white woman. My god, GOP just has no issue throwing democracy out the window

Sconny’s definitely heading in the right (left?) direction. They need to undo what he did to public teachers still.

Protests where elected officials are surrounded in their workplace are not neutral acts, they are acts of intimidation. Protests need to be outside the buildings to maintain safety and that these three led protestors while they were inside the building should not go unpunished... and these were the protestors holding up
seven fingers. Consider what that means to many people in those communities. That said, expelling them was the dumbest possible choice.
