I'm suprised the union wasn't more active in getting him forced out. Maybe they'll demand some language about transphobia in their next contract.
That's the opposite of what unions dosimple schoolboy wrote:I'm suprised the union wasn't more active in getting him forced out. Maybe they'll demand some language about transphobia in their next contract.
Its what the NYT union does, I figure it'll trickle down to the teacher's union at some point.B wrote:That's the opposite of what unions dosimple schoolboy wrote:I'm suprised the union wasn't more active in getting him forced out. But first they gotta do this:B wrote:They should be free to call him Mr. Dickface.Green Habit wrote:With the teacher having the right to do that, students should also have the right to not attend his classes.

You know it’s getting progressive in there when school board members are organizing with activists in secret Facebook groups to create enemies lists and activists are openly calling for the silencing of opponents and firing of teachers.
This particular dummy just decided to martyr himself

I can see where this could be argued as anti-trans, but it never occurred to me these treatments could be viewed as "a boy who likes boys being medically transitioned to a girl who likes boys is 'transing the gay away' ".
How on earth would we know? Self reporting only seems to be seen as valid if it goes a particular direction.B wrote:So, what did the tribunal find? Were they transitioning gay kids or not?
To be fair, Tavistock is a special case… but it is also at the forefront of the debate and recently lost a major lawsuit over medically transitioning people under 16.simple schoolboy wrote:How on earth would we know? Wikipedia wrote: Non-binary (also spelled nonbinary) or genderqueer is an umbrella term for gender identities that are neither male nor female—identities that are outside the gender binary.[1][2] Non-binary identities fall under the transgender umbrella, since non-binary people typically identify with a gender that is different from their assigned sex,[2] though some non-binary individuals do not consider themselves transgender.
Non-binary people may identify as having two or more genders (being bigender or trigender);[5][6] having no gender (agender, nongendered, genderless, genderfree); moving between genders or having a fluctuating gender identity (genderfluid)
