I enjoyed the finale quite a bit. Not perfect by any means but enjoyable and even moving at times. Of course I have some issues with some of it but overall I liked it.

This was a successful series, I think. Don't need a S2 but if they make one, I'll totes watch it.

B wrote:The Good
- The rancor was great. That could have been some shitty fx, but it was well done. Even the crumbling buildings were great.
- Cad Bane's stuff was excellent. Loved the last showdown. I hope he's alive, b/c Star Wars needs to stop killing off great villians.
- Grogu snuggling with the rancor? I mean c'mon! Yay!

The Bad
- Why do the Vespas look so bad? They even had great speeder effects with the one that Fennec was riding.
- How is any of this a war? They were counting on Freetown? Their whole town was about 10 people. What kind of pussies are the Pikes? They lost a whole planet to an army of less than 20 people.

I, overall, enjoyed the series and the finale. Dime's being dramatic. I'm ready for Mandalorian, Season 4.

Dime needs to stay away from the Star Wars clickbait when the shows are on imho.

Boba will have An appearance from : Mara Jade, mace windu,Han solo ,Leia ,chewy, Boskk, Dengar etc......

All total bs rumours.

They did the same with the bad batch Finale and the whole thing gets over hyped. And you end up feeling let down.

I avoided this time around and enjoyed Boba.

Episode 6 was some of the best Star Wars you will see

That’s why I empathise Dime and offer the above advise.

I experienced it with BB season 1 finale.

The what?

I’m in Star Wars fandom for decades by the way. And I know exactly what is a bullshit site and what isn’t.
Im almost certain I’ve never even written the words Mara jade on this site. Or any of that other bollox you posted. Because that’s all bollox.
You do you though. Bit of projection going on there.

Holy shit! How does a thread populated by grown ass men about Star Wars devolve into this.

Here are my qualms:
Robert Rodriguez’s direction was so unimaginative. This was a chance for a real old west throwback akin to the first ep of Mando except on a larger scale. Instead, it was a mess of lasers being fired point blank.

Luke really going to send the all important weapon Grogu through space on autopilot? And really, dumb choice for Grogu not to study with Luke.

Cad Bane is so cool. I don’t expect he’s dead, but letting fat Boba get the drop on him with his Tusken stick kills some of his aura for someone like me who hasn’t seen him in anything else. When he knocked off Boba’s how, I thought, “How cool would it be if this was the first time since appearing in Mando that his helmet came off?”

Are Wookiees and Rancor impervious to blasters? They just heal like Wolverine?

Overall, this series did nothing for its titular character, but I enjoyed the Mando and Luke stuff a lot, Fennec and Cad are awesome characters, and it worked fine as a placeholder for a year. Or until May 25th.

Agree about the kid.

In this one episode They undid all the great work with him and his just little magic and awwww factor. All of it’s gone.
If they put him into the obi wan series I’ll fuckin scream.
And they might just. We still don’t know who saved him. It wasn’t kenobi but by Christ if they stick him in there I’m just stopping even thinking about Star wars ever again

Weird finale.

The whole big Grogu send off in Mando S2 finale made it look like an epic parting and Grogu was on his new path and Mando on his. But Grogu comes back? Ok. Kinda takes the steam out of the whole Jedi training with Luke.

Just a whole weird way to end this “war”. Talking up reinforcements and lookouts in various districts and it’s just like a group of ten people

And Cad Bane was cool as hell. And he’s offed in his 2nd live action appearance. Wanted to see him in various ways throughout the galaxy

But since this is new sw, he’s probably alive. Still be cool if he is alive but fake deaths are bleh.

My pal makes the point fairly and accurately

There’s a fuckin ton of Cad Bane content

It’s up to the pissbabies to go back and watch it

And yes that means rebels and clone wars.

^^cant argue with that.

True, but I’m not into the cartoons. Live action or GTFO

Yea come on. Life action is way cooler and better. They nailed the costume and the everything. He was fantastic. I want more.

It’d be like saying no more ahsoka because oh well you can watch the cartoons.

Nope.

I only saw 3 eps of this series, and besides the one with Luke, this was a waste of time. Half ofthe season features Mando and Grogu and corrects the awesome Mando S2 finale. What a fuuuucking letdown

Fett is good now and kinda stupid too. The cool blue baddie, dead. Yeah its Disney SW so he can come back, but still, bummer.

What surprised me to most about this one was how awful it looked. Awful photography, awful fx, awful direction...The digital backgrounds...what is this the prequels?

I hope they get to spend the big bucks on Kenobi but im worried.
