Not enough letters. If anything it's spelling 'the pearl jams'.

Based on the imagery, the song titles, and the songs we've already heard, I'm buying the apocalypse theme, and I'm really looking forward to it.

This is just to much for me to hope for. The art direction on this album is looking like their best yet. I am really glad they turned over all control to Boom.philpritchard wrote:Based on the imagery, the song titles, and the songs we've already heard, I'm buying the apocalypse theme, and I'm really looking forward to it.

To me the gun is pointing at me. We look out at the world and see beauty, but we don't see that the world is going to kill us, because of our irresponsibility of not keeping the planet clean.bodysnatcher wrote:Really like the Russian Roulette idea to this image...

Re: Lightning Bolt -- guess the tracks!
I hope if it's a concept record, at the end there's a hidden song where Ed tells us that we're all to blame we fucking blew it and we can all burn in hell, and then he gets on a spaceship with his family and leaves the world behind.
I'm not even joking. That'd be fucking great.

Re: Lightning Bolt -- guess the tracks!
I didn't really think about it before because we knew so little. But the religious imagery in the artwork for Lightning Bolt and Mind Your Manners, along with the lyrics Sgt. Crackpot posted earlier all make sense. Now these new reveals for Sirens, Swallowed Whole and Yellow Moon all seem like they could fit the concept. As much as I've been looking forward to the album, I'm concerned this idea has got me too excited. If they don't do it, I'll be at least a bit disappointed now.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:ive hoped for the apocalypse concept album since a few were talking about it a couple of weeks agophilpritchard wrote:Based on the imagery, the song titles, and the songs we've already heard, I'm buying the apocalypse theme, and I'm really looking forward to it.
