I really can't believe that anyone would pay for a Ten Club membership. I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Seems like throwing money away.

when the dates were announced there was a lot of confusion on whether a 2nd Amsterdam show even existed. 10C could have done a better job of communicating that IMO given that they have (themselves to blame for grooming) a large contingent of dedicated fans who will shell out to travel to see PJ, and in terms of dates, a 2nd show or not can make a big difference when planning something like that

that said, this person is a crybaby and taking the toys and going home is silly

i am surprised 10C even engages in those types of discussions at this point

why is there not a non-answer PR team to handle these

you'd think there would have been enough meltdown experiences by now for TB to know to just ignore this stuff

someone should find one of those handwritten 10C responses from the early '90s and post it side-by-side next to this exchange

and sell it at the RMerch stand before one of the euro shows

I get that for the price of the membership that you should feel comfortable that you get to see a show on the tour. But at the same time, dude got Zurich tickets already! If he had to fight Ticketmaster for one show instead of two that’s a win in my book.

I guess since I am in the NY area and we were never allowed into every show with a red carpet and escort to every show we wanted it puts things in perspective (for all the tours they even let you have multiple shows, NY was the exception due to demand). I think Tim explained the problem in a fair way and this member just blew up because he or she assumed they were going VIP to every show. That’s not Tim Bierman’s fault that this person’s dreams didn’t come true.

Oh fair enough. And I'm totally with you. My comment, to be clear, was more directed at the idea that what the customer said is "a weird thing to get your knickers so twisted about." If one has worked for any meaningful amount of time in customer service, this complaint doesn't seem strange at all.

i "won" the lottery a few times in Seattle, but i was sitting behind people who bought their tickets through the general public sale on Ticketmaster

I think 4? And in St. Louis, KC, and NYC.

Yeah in 2016 I was 2/3. The one I missed I bought on Ticketmaster (Greenville) and had front row on the side seats, better than what 10C would have given me. My 10C in Columbia were in the upper fucking deck, and I'm 158xxx. And then they cancelled Raleigh.
