Thanks for the Yield radio link. I really enjoyed that.
I like the one Stone did for VS too, though this was so much better with Jeff. Genuine, funny and insightful.
So many new tidbits.
They even acknowledged the GTF / LZ thing.
How many times did they discuss Stones extra-curricular activities?
And I always thought those awesome bass lines in DTE were "quintessential Jeff", to only find he didn't even play on it.

I finally listened to this today and it was great!
Genuinely reminded me that I do enjoy (some aspects of) this band.

I appreciate your honesty. I didn’t know it either.
Let’s be ignorant together.

After them finally doing interviews again in 1998, I (probably a lot of us) read and reread every interview they gave. Lot's of information in those like Stone writing that bass line and them recording DTE on the last day of the session. I also liked how Ed gave 4 or 5 different meanings behind the lyrics to In Hiding. Felt like a Dylan thing to do.

as a unit, Jack really shines and drives Yield. Probably In My Tree is the most Irons song in their catalogue yes, but what he does on Brain Of J, Faithfull, No Way GTF is fuuuucking awesome

That makes sense. I think the only interview I read from this era is the one where Janeane Garofalo interviews EV. I would have been keen for more.
