I will report that my Lightning Bolt also skips on Pendulum. Lots of loud pops throughout most of both sides too. Pretty much the worst quality new vinyl I have ever purchased (for $35!!!!)

Kind of glad my copy of Lightning Bolt is delayed! Hopefully I'll get one from a new batch.

Purchased from a store, or from 10C?
Apparently the 10C has removed them from the online shop.

I got it from a local store. I'm going to try to return it and see if I can get a non-skipping copy. Sounds like most or all copies have the persistent pops though.

Linn launches £25,000 turntable made out of whisky casks
Aside from enjoying a wee dram while listening to The White Album, we didn't think there was a better way to combine our love of whisky and high-end audio gear. Linn, on the other hand, decided to celebrate its 40th birthday by teaming up with fellow highland brand Highland Park to produce something really special. The pair are recreating Linn's flagship Sondek LP12 turntable, but on a wooden plinth crafted from some of the distiller's solid oak scotch whisky casks. Naturally, only 40 of the units will be produced, each one setting you back £25,000 ($40,000) -- but hey, at least you get a 40-year-old bottle of Highland Park (worth £900) thrown in for good measure.

That's a fine looking deck... nowhere near £25K, but definitely nice looking.

Nice haul from a private seller. All things that we're missing in my collection except one that I already had.
I paid $180 for the 8 records. Seems pricey but some of these get quite expensive on eBay (Adore can go for $70+). You guys tell me if I overpaid.
Bruce - Greetings form Asbury Park
GNR - Spaghetti Incident (I had to complete the GNR collection)
SP - Adore
Cash - American IV
NY - Chrome Dreams II
NY - Prairie Wind (already had this one, so if anyone needs it...)
Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones

unless a first pressing was what you were looking for you probably could have waited on it- the the first four american recordings johnny cash albums are getting reissued here within the next month or two.
that said, an average of $23 per album doesn't seem too bad to me.

Add me to the unlucky ones...
I got my 10c one yesterday. Cover was in decent shape with the exception of a slash down the middle of the inner part of the gate fold, and a split in the album sleeve, which I don't l like, but can accept because I understand shit happens during shipping.
The album itself skips on Getaway, has pops pretty much throughout the whole album... Emailed 10c to let them know... Now to play the waiting game again...
As a side note... (this is where I'm lucky) my brother in-law took me to a used book/record store last weekend, and I picked up the '93 fan club single in DAMN good condition (perfect vinyl, some shelf wear on the sleeve) for $10!

The asking price on the Cash record was $40. If it averages out to $23, I'm happy with that considering a reissue will go for $30 most likely. Reissues are tricky things... unless it's MOV I don't have a lot of faith in the quality of the pressing.

Heard anything from them yet? Just got my Ten Club copy today and it's got the skip in Getaway along with pops in the first three songs (haven't listened to the rest yet). The packaging is pretty awesome though.

Outside of the autoresponse? Not a word.
Sounds like your copy and my copy came from the same batch! The popping is REALLY prevalent in the first 3 songs, and getaway is the only one that skips on my copy.
