Todd made the choice to work with Ryan. It was worth it to him for the exposure. Now it's over so he can scramble onto the right team I guess?
Brad Pemberton said "Fuck him" and that they haven't been friends for a long time. Him and the other guys in the Cardinals are who I would be asking questions to at this point.

Was reading through the comments on that post of his. Someone said "Hmmmm...methinks @kylocopia is Ryan. Jus' sayin'"
So i had to scroll around and look for that persons comment:

I haven't been able to listen. His songs will come up on various playlists for me throughout the day and i just turn it down or skip.

Only album I still listened to was Cold Roses. There was a multi year time in my life I used to fall asleep to Cold Roses every night! I can pretty easily give it up. Jason Isbell is my shit now for this kinda stuff. Fuck Ryan.

Isbell is great but he does touch Ryan Adams for me
Isbell certainly can help fill that void and I love his music but Ryan Adams was able to touch on all sorts of different moods, energies, styles, etc... that was far more rounded than Isbell.
Isbell is still young into his solo career though so...

Ryan just hit the sad/tired moods...not really anything else for me. I dunno. I saw him live at least a dozen times, don't get me wrong, he's a musical genius. Just a really messed up guy. Not sure how he recovers from this, musically or otherwise.
