They played a commercial for a bowling tournament when I was waiting for my car to be done, and I was very excited thinking it was coming on next. But, no, just more First Take.

Well, they could bring back live sports again, that NBC Sports and FS1 have taken over. Racing of all kinds... Hockey etc. (and Fox is employing now most of the douchebags that left ESPN for much more money)
Instead they went with the easy cheap/terrible option and they put a bunch of insulting morons on the air that can read cue cards. It's not just a bad concept, it's bad execution.
John Skipper sucks.
That's what happens when you put everything towards the main leagues.

I'd love to see Sage Steel be part of the talent that gets let go, then she will have plenty of time to make flights.

So far I've seen
Ed Werder (kind of surprising) and a bunch of minor reporters that cover specific conferences, etc. Would be funny if they fired that Marty dude while he is over in Italy following the Michigan football team.

Also, laid off a lot of hockey reporters and coverage. Big surprise. ESPN hates hockey.

Looks like ESPN is only laying off the actual reporters. Most of these people are the local folks who do all the work for the commentators. Sad to see. Only thing left will be the fucking hot take artists. God damn it.

ESPN is essentially making The NFL, NHL and MLB networks much better by doing this while making their stuff even worse. Don't get it.

I bet they are regretting buying the rights to air so many sports. They outbid themselves in some cases.
