I can tell "Like a Hurricane" is a good song too but he really shouldn't have forced something to follow "Will to Love". There's no topping that. It's just not fair.

It was an outtake from his scrapped Chrome Dreams record. I don't believe he updated it at all, just through it on AS&B because he felt like it. If you haven't figured it out yet, part of what makes his discography so rewarding is that he doesn't give a fuck, so you'll be treated to little gems tucked into albums that are otherwise unremarkable. It's all the subtle background noises that make it. It sounds like there's just ambient noise of a crackling fire, I think? And some weird, out-of-sync drums and stuff at one point. Man alive.

As I'm listening to this again, I would bet money that Kanye was inspired by that little out-of-sync drum moment to include a nearly identical touch on "Wolves".
