I've always found it shortsighted that he basically fell out of the main event and never returned after WM4. He could have been the top heel for years. It probably had something to do with Hogan burying him or something.

Totally agree. Even as a kiddo I was intrigued to see what would happen next. It was a great storyline. Apparently Hogan was to drop the title to DiBiase on SNME but Hogan did not want lose to DiBiase so Hogan dropped it to Andre.

They dropped the ball with DiBiase. He could have been their answer to Ric Flair as a top heel who can carry the title and put on good match after good match. DiBiase was an incredible worker. As big of a Savage mark as I am DiBiase really should have won the title at WM4. Which legend has it was the original plan. DiBiase could have won it and Savage could have chased it for a few months and finally win it. Oh well. The moment of Savage winning the title at WM4 was amazing for me. For me it does not get better than Savage.

I'm not that big of a Savage guy. Not hating, he had some fantastic matches, just not my cup of tea.

Team Macho Man. I love his match with Ric Flair from WM8 (the first WM I ever watched, so that probably makes a difference)

That match is very underrated. Bret Hart and Piper that day was great too. Very fun Mania. Flair took bumps like a fucking champ.

i was just looking over the card for the Rumble and it looks like there are 19 people officially entered into the rumble, so who might be the surprises this year? has Randy Orton been back on TV anytime recently, i would imagine he will be in it, and i think ive seen Jerricho listed on some house shows so i could see him in the Rumble. anything possibilities that are actually exciting?

Is it going to be worth watching?

To me the Rumble is always worth watching for the Rumble match, but I love the rumble match. As for potential surprises, Orton is pretty much a lock. I wouldn't be shocked if guys like Jericho, RVD, and Mysterio showed up. Guys that aren't around but are under contract. I figure we will see a couple old school ECW guys as well.

Lesnar/Cena/Rollins for the title. I wasn't interested that much until they added Rollins, now there is some intrigue to it.
Other than that, there's a tag title match and a women's match.

Rollins in the match definitely made me want to see it, especially since now there is the possibility of Rollins not winning the match but still cashing in the MITB contract and walking out Champ anyway. though if that happens i really hope he cashes in on Lesnar, maybe its my old school NWA/WCW love but i really dont want Cena tying Flair for the most world title reigns.

I am excited for this PPV. Hard to tell what will happen in the title match and who will win the Rumble. It's my favorite PPV and I have a good idea about this one.
For the Rumble I think it will be Reigns, Bryan or Dolph with outside shots at Ryback or Ambrose. But even then that is like 4-5 guys. Last year you knew it was gonna be Batista, year before you knew it was gonna be Cena, year before that you knew it was gonna be Sheamus or Jericho, etc. This is a great chance for Dolph. With a great showing he can catapult himself to that next level. If Rollins is champ going into Mania a match with him and Dolph if they get 25 minutes could be epic even if Rollins retains.
As for surprise entries I would love to see a few NXT guys in the Rumble like Balor and Adrian Neville. I like the idea of Zayn and Owens being in it but I think they are saving that as long as possible. Orton has been working house shows so I bet Orton comes back (yawn) and I could see Jericho coming back. I have heard rumors of Jericho coming back, turning heel and feuding with Dolph culminating in a match at Mania. Sting could be in the Rumble. It's the kind of match where he doesn't have to do much. He can come in and clean house and someone from the authority can eliminate him. Being in Philly I bet we see RVD.
As for the title match I am puzzled. I don't want Cena to tie Flair either. I don't see Cena winning. Cryptic comments about winning the title and "going home" and that leads me to think something wacky might happen. I like the idea of Brock winning and Rollins cashing in on him and leaving with the title at Mania but then what would they do with Brock at Mania? I am pretty confused with what they are thinking for Mania at this point. There isn't one match at this Mania that I would be the farm on us seeing and we are like 6 weeks from the card probably being set.

i wonder if Brock has specific shows that he is scheduled to appear at, or just a certain number of appearances in his contract, and he seems to have been showing up a lot lately, so maybe they wont use him for Mania. all though if he will be having a match then i would be good with a Brock vs Reigns match at Mania i just dont want it to be for the title. since Brock got the rub from breaking the Undertakers streak last year, somehting that would have done a whole lot more for someone like Reigns, let Brock give it back since he is leaving and put Reigns over on his way out....that might make Reigns more believable as Champ maybe around Summer Slam or somehitng like that

I think Brock has appearances he has to meet. I believe he is signed through the night after Mania.
Reigns v Brock is not a terrible idea even if it's for the title. I would rather it not be for the title though. IF it's for the title though I'd like to see Brock win and Rollins cash in and have that end Mania. I have just always wanted to see s cash in at Mania.
Seriously NO idea what the card for Mania will look like. Not sure if that is good or bad.

the unknown card for mania is kinda exciting at the moment, its not somehting we are already bored from thinking about for months....but if its thrown together last minute then it can definitely suck. im sad that there wont be an elimination chamber this year, or at least not after the Rumble like the last few years

Lesnar doesn't even have a set number of dates he has to work, it's more like wwe just lets him know which dates they want him for and he gets paid for that many dates.
I think Reigns will win, but I badly want it to be Bryan. Bryan/Brock would be fantastic, and it's also a perfect time for Rollins to cash in.
