I didn't really take the time to pick them apart when I saw it in theaters and it's been months since I last saw the film, but my memory is that the fights are really well done and much more in line with what I want a lightsaber battle to be in my Star Wars films.

But I need to see the movie again and really focus on them before I can pretend to defend that feeling.

It's not at all about the iconography for me. It's about Edwards' visual composition. He's a master.

It reminded me of looking up at the giant octo aliens in Monsters. They were way more threatening in that teaser than they've been in any other SW movie.

I just saw this, and I agree completely. Those were wonderful shots in that movie.

Dude, if you want to get a feel for how this movie might look, definitely watch Monsters. It is on Netflix and is wonderful.

So I recently read somewhere (sorry to pull a dime and not share a link) that there may be two bounty hunters featured in this. When Mads was cast, he said this about his character:
