I won both Wrigley shows. I had:
Night 1 Reserved
Night 2 Reserved
Night 1 Reserved
Night 2 Reserved
I'll send you the loot for my ticket by the end of the week.cutuphalfdead wrote:Got night 1 at Fenway.
About $15 Wrigley field adds.Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Some info: The face for tickets is $65, $75, or $85, but they gouge you on fees for about $20 per ticket. Nothing on the field was available for Friday (I didn't look for Sunday). It seems like the Friday show is the big-demand night, and I would guess that the public on-sale will be a shit show.
If I didn't get tickets this way, my strategy would have been using craigslist, PJ fan forums, or ticket drops rather than locking in nosebleeds with the public on-sale.
I guess there was also a "friends" pre-sale (with a password) today, and some people at the Pit were able to pull field seats (In the C sections of the map below):Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Maybe because I was getting 4 tix or because I got unlucky in the "Virtual Waiting Room" I didn't get the field. But I got about 5 rows up from the 3rd base on-deck circle, so I am happy. I will be slightly elevated, so I might have a better view than section C field seats.Simple Torture wrote:I guess there was also a "friends" pre-sale (with a password) today, and some people at the Pit were able to pull field seats (In the C sections of the map below):Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Not if you count the membership dues as a fee.BDB wrote:with fees, the presale tickets are more than the fanclub seats.Fuck You Jobu wrote:About $15 Wrigley field adds.Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Say what?CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago
Similar to last year, I assume. It's not a PJ concert that's for sure.15showsandcounting wrote:Say what?CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago
Gotcha. Had me excited for a moment. Knew Taylor playing in June up there so wasn't sure.CopperTom wrote:Similar to last year, I assume. It's not a PJ concert that's for sure.15showsandcounting wrote:Say what?CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago
if you're pulling this off twitter, it's a bit misleading. the first tweet mentions wrigley concerts this summer featuring pearl jam and james taylor. the second tweet mentions the june 17 benefit show with details to come.CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago
